The Treasurer shall be elected at the annual meeting for a term of one year. He or she shall keep account of all funds received and disbursed by the Church, other than those belonging to auxiliary organizations. He or she shall maintain their accounts and prepare their reports in conformity with the fund classifications provided for in Article IX. He or she shall submit periodic reports to the Church Cabinet, the Board of the Trustees, and to the annual meeting of the Church. His report to the annual meeting shall be examined and reported upon by the Auditing Committee.


All checks drawn against the Church’s bank accounts shall be signed by two of the following: Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Moderator, Associate Moderator, and Treasurer. Funds of the Church may be deposited in interest bearing accounts, or may be invested in interest bearing securities upon recommendation by the Board of Trustees and approval of the Church membership. The Treasurer shall be a member of the Board of Trustees.
