Safe Church Committee
This committee shall consist of the four elected officers of the church (moderator, associate moderator, church clerk, and treasurer); the chair of each elected board; the Sunday School Superintendent; and the pastor. Its responsibility will be to implement, administer, and oversee the Safe Church Policy by assuring 1) the collection and review of background data, 2) development of procedures, 3) maintenance of records, 4) education of child and youth staff and volunteers as well as the congregation, 5) communication to the congregation and outside groups, and 6) providing for response to any allegation of sexual exploitation or harassment.
