The Financial Secretary shall be appointed by the Church Cabinet for a term of one year. He or she shall receive and deposit all monies and collections received by the Church, other than those belonging to the various auxiliary organizations. He or she shall maintain a record thereof in accordance with the fund classification provided for in Article IX, shall report. the amounts to the Treasurer for recording in his or her records, and shall submit periodic reports to the Church Cabinet, Board of Trustees, and to the annual meeting of the Church. His or her report to the annual meeting shall be examined and reported upon by the Auditing Committee. He or she shall provide pledge envelopes to the membership, maintain separate accounts for each member who uses the pledge envelope system or other means of identifying his contributions, and shall furnish each such member with an annual statement of his or her account. The Financial Secretary shall be a member of the Board of Trustees.
