Doug grew up in this Church with the support of the Church community and Congregation. Throughout his faith journey, he often finds God through video games, mainstream music, singing, and movies. He was confirmed and became a member under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Dale Susan Edmonds in 2001.

Being a leader is important to him because everyone has something to contribute and being able to help support others makes him feel good. He has an Associates Degree in Electronics and Computer Science.

Doug joined Troop 979 and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2005 and has continued to be a part of the Boy Scout program as an Assistant Scout Master. He also is the Webelos program leader for Cub Scout Pack 3979.
